The president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Danijel Živković, said at a forum in Kličevo that Andrija Mandić is "political history" and that after Budva, he will be sent to the opposition in Nikšić as well.
"I see that they are sending shameful messages these days that after April 13th and the victory of the DPS, someone will have to move out of Nikšić. This is just a continuation of the shameful messages of hate that we have been hearing from them these days, with which they want to scare voters away from a certain return to power of the Democratic Party of Socialists. That is why I am taking this opportunity to tell them now - no one will move out of Nikšić after April 13th, but we will create an environment for citizens to move in. But still - we will evict Marko Kovačević and this parliamentary majority from their seats and move them into the opposition. And after we do that in Nikšić, we will evict them from power in all other municipalities, and then at the state level," said Živković, as announced by the DPS.
He also, as announced, referred to "the offensive messages that Andrija Mandić and Marko Kovačević are conveying at election rallies."
"Understand them. Andrija Mandić has an obligation to defend Greater Serbian nationalism to the last square in Belgrade on the water. His defense is only related to the defense of the square, and not to any ideology. Therefore, do not be surprised by the messages that he and his political son Marko Kovačević are sending these days, who for four years has been constantly sowing hatred, inciting divisions and disgraced the proud and honorable history of Nikšić with nationalist politics. However, that will end on April 13th and they will never again get the opportunity to govern a single municipality in Montenegro," said Živković.
The leader of the "Fight for Nikšić!" list, Boris Muratović, said that "victory in Nikšić is certain", but that it must be so convincing that it "sends a clear message that this government is a thing of the past".
"We must sweep them off the political scene of Nikšić in order to sweep them off immediately afterwards in the whole of Montenegro. That is why we must not stop, we must fight for every vote until the final victory. I expect special support from here, from my Kličevo, which has always known how to choose wisely. And that is why I am sure that you will not fall for the frauds called PES and Democrats, which serve exclusively to transfer those votes to the altar of Marko Kovačević tomorrow. That is why - we continue on, for a few more days, until the final and convincing victory and the collapse of nationalism in our city," said Muratović.
