Nikšić knows who destroyed it for 30 years, and who raised it from the ashes in just four years. That is why on April 13th we choose either to return to the darkness and crime of the DPS, or to continue working so that our Nikšić lives better, so that our Nikšić citizens live better, so that we have another 5.000 new jobs, to open factories, to bring in investors, to build roads and infrastructure, to improve our social programs. Nikšić knows who can only lead it forward, said Marko Kovačević, the leader of the list "For the Future of Nikšić", from the central tribune held tonight at Nikšić's Freedom Square.
He said that on April 13, he would convincingly defeat the Democratic Party of Socialists, and that their list would be the strongest and most victorious. As he pointed out, Milo Đukanović had once again become a resident of the town near Trebjes and he regretted that he had not headed his party's list, so that he could "convincingly defeat" him on April 13.
"This way, he will be defeated, but he will hide his defeat behind these unfortunate neighbors of ours who do not realize that by voting and supporting the Democratic Party of Socialists, they are becoming the same as Milo Đukanović," said Kovačević.

Andrija Mandić, president of New Serbian Democracy and president of the Parliament of Montenegro, said that this time their victory would be more convincing, because the councilor list led by Kovačević is "the strongest councilor list in Nikšić."
"Don't be confused by those who need to justify their defeat, carrying these lists of some people who are registered on the voter list, so that they can talk on Monday about how someone allegedly stole from them in these elections. Don't let that scare you, don't let that bother you. We have a victory tonight, all the polls confirm that, and we have a victory because this young team has worked well for the past four years and they have done a lot. There is no more corruption in Nikšić, 5.000 new jobs have been created in Nikšić, there are serious projects in Nikšić," Mandić emphasized.
As he said, the Sunny City is almost a complete story – there will not be a young man in Nikšić who will not have the opportunity, in his words, to get an apartment.
"We know that Marko and his team have energy. They are young people, they were given a chance. We did not have the opportunity, when we were their age, to have a field to prove ourselves. They were given a field to prove themselves. They govern this city and have an opportunity that they must seize. If we count by the first, by the first four years, I am more than sure that everything will be the way the majority of Montenegrin citizens want it. Those small obstacles, the fact that the honorary president of the DPS is coming to Nikšić after 30 years and is supposedly looking for some new opportunities for a new beginning, if someone were listening from the sidelines, they would say that Marko Kovačević has been in power for 30 years, and that he is some new face who arrived in Nikšić and the people of Nikšić do not know who he is," emphasized the president of the NSD.

As he stressed, "there can be no victory for the people in Montenegro and Nikšić without the defeat of Milo Đukanović", and there can be no reconciliation without "establishing his responsibility". "Until his responsibility and that of the people around him are established, this country will not be able to move forward. And we have been persistently demanding this for years - since the government took over in Montenegro, from the police, the prosecution, and the judiciary. We call on them from here to establish responsibility. These people are hungry for justice", said Mandić.
He told Kovačević that everyone believed in him and his team and that they knew that they would do what he had decided – "revive" Nikšić and Montenegro.

The President of the Democratic People's Party, Milan Knežević, said that when the recent history of Nikšić and Montenegro is written, it will be recorded that "the sheikh from Rastok, with permanent residence in Dubai, did more damage and evil to Nikšić and Montenegro than the Turks, the Austro-Hungarians, the Germans, the Italians, and the NATO alliance combined."
"And when that beautiful and bright history of Montenegro is written, it will be remembered that our coalition, together with the glorious people of Nikšić, was the first to raise the banner of resistance against the Rastok sheik, the resistance of freedom, carrying it through the streets of Montenegro, believing in the freedom that, thanks to you, we brought on August 30. And now, after five years, we are faced with the fact that the sheik from Rastok has become a vampire, visiting Nikšić homes, where he cannot give a guarantee, as if he were selling Kirby, swearing like voodoo shamans from Haiti. But every curse he directs at us comes back to him and the DPS, and they will see that when the boxes are turned upside down on April 13," said Knežević.
As he emphasized, Đukanović called on everyone in Montenegro to defend the Constitution of the SFRY in the 90s, saying at the time that he hated chess because of the chessboard, "that he would shave Mesić, that he would break Tuđman's nose, that we would build a more beautiful and new Dubrovnik when we bombed it."
"In 1999, he voted to defend the FRY with all available means, and then, as the greatest traitor, he went to Brussels and took all the military plans so that they could bomb Serbia and Montenegro more easily and better. In '98, he kissed the hand of Patriarch Pavle and went to order the Christmas Eve meal in Cetinje, and he ordered it so wrong that it would have been better if he had jumped into that fire than that crying Christmas Eve meal," said the DNP president.

Since Croatia is announcing, as he said, that it will demand the ship Jadran, Prevlaka, and war reparations for Morinj, it would be best to "send them Milo and Blaž Đukanović in the name of war reparations, so that the Croats can get their money back from the two of them."
"According to the agreement made with Elektrodistribucija and Elektroprivreda, Blažo Đukanović has been charged with so many kilowatts, more than Niagara Falls has. If Nikola Tesla were to rise from his grave, he would cross himself in front of Blažo Đukanović, that's how much electricity is emanating from him," said Knežević.
He asked Andrija Nikolić whether the lists he had handed over to the police included Shinawatra, Ismailov, Radoje Zvicer and "all those high-society criminals who were given honorary citizenships."

According to the president of the Socialist People's Party and Minister of Agriculture, Vladimir Joković, they are proud and overjoyed that the "most honest part of Nikšić" supports them, and their victory in Nikšić, as he said, will decide the results of the 2027 parliamentary elections.

"Some said that we got the number ten because it is one of God's ten commandments. That's why it is. It says there - do not kill and do not steal. None of these people killed or stole. Others did that. Many said we got the number ten because we have ten fingers. That's right - but we did everything we have and have with ten fingers, and some have earned much more with their 11th finger. Why the number ten and why Marko Kovačević - because, my dear people of Nikšić, we are at least ten times better than them," Joković said.

The founder and president of United Montenegro, Goran Danilović, said that Nikšić knows that Marko Kovačević and his team have done more in four years than the honorary president of DPS has done in the past 20 years.
"To be honest - he invested in Nikšić on his property and then distanced himself from Nikšić, and today he came to send us a message that it is worth returning to politics so that Nikšić can flourish. What he thinks about Nikšić and the people of Nikšić is best expressed by the fence that would make a good part of the Berlin Wall. He distanced himself from his fellow citizens, his party, his friends in a way that no one else has," said Danilović.
As he pointed out, Đukanović is not their competition, but time, and he suggests that they give Kovačević new time.
"The king is looking at you. And all of Montenegro. Because Nikšić is a signpost. Our political competition knows that too. But they know that they have disgraced themselves. They know when they could have not helped. In fact, we know that they essentially do not know. That is why we are different. Our coalition knows. It knows that Nikšić knows. Our coalition deserves four more years from this city. For young people and a young leader and a young mayor to show what else can be done in this city," said Danilović, adding that four years ago they "stole freedom for Nikšić."

The speakers at the forum included the President of the Capital City Assembly Jelena Borovinić Bojović, NSD MP Jovan Vučurović, candidates for councilors Zoran Tomić, Marija Lalatović and Zoran Čolaković, while Ilija Miljanić welcomed the gathering at the beginning.
Those present at the convention observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the recently deceased NSD MP and party councilor in the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, Janko Milatović.
