Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) MP Sonja Milatović said that, "instead of acting as a spokesperson for the Democrats during working hours," it would be better if Petar Koprivica actually started performing the job of State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for which citizens regularly pay him.
"It is clear as day," she said, that Koprivica signs statements written by the head of the parliamentary group and general secretary of the Democrats, Boris Bogdanović, and that, from the position of state secretary in the security sector, he is "engaging in empty politics."
"It would be smarter for him to roll up his sleeves and for the Ministry of the Interior, which is responsible for maintaining the voter register, to start acting in accordance with its official duty, because it is unacceptable for election tourists who exercise their right to vote in another country, who do not live in Nikšić, to decide the fate of the people of Nikšić. In conclusion, regardless of all the obstructions of state bodies, regardless of all the pressures to which employees in local and state administration, local and state-owned enterprises are exposed, regardless of the fact that this government brings voters from other countries, regardless of the fact that it uses the dirtiest possible mechanisms, we will win in Nikšić on Sunday. Therefore, I call on the people of Nikšić to go to the polls en masse on Sunday and to send a clear message that no one else will decide their fate but themselves, so that the victory will be even more convincing," the DPS MP said.
