The citizens of Podgorica are also paying councilors of Branislav Nenezić's party to be in the assembly hall, and not in the surrounding corridors, announced today the councilor of the Europe Now Movement (PES) in the Assembly of the Capital City, Goran Mišković.
He reacted to a statement by the President of the Municipal Assembly (SO Bar) and representative of the European Union, Branislav Nenezić, in which he, among other things, condemned the "hypocrisy and need for political advertising" of opposition representatives in the Bar parliament, because "their colleagues neither in Podgorica nor in other cities want to participate in the work of the parliaments where they form the government, and they regularly receive compensation."
"Look at your home, angel. In today's public address, the president of the Bar Municipal Assembly, Branislav Nenezić, criticized the local opposition for not providing a quorum for the session. He reminds the opposition councilors that the citizens of Bar pay them to be in the assembly hall, not in the surrounding corridors. I remind Mr. Nenezić that the exact same situation was in Podgorica just a month ago. I wonder - do the same rules apply to councilors in Bar and Podgorica?", Mišković pointed out in a statement.
He added that there was a slight difference, because as he said, "the opposition councilors in Podgorica were not in the surrounding corridors, but at the door of the assembly hall and counted the representatives of the ruling majority."
"When they were convinced that the two councilors were (justifiably) absent, they left the assembly hall and thus prevented the session from taking place. I remind Mr. Nenezić that the citizens of Podgorica also pay the councilors of his party to be in the assembly hall, and not in the surrounding corridors. This is the best example of the hypocrisy and double standards of the (non)European Union. Therefore, I ask you, MP and President of the Bar Municipal Assembly, Nenezić, to first tidy up your own yard, and then give advice to those better and stronger than you," Mišković said in his reaction.
