Vuković: We were there when the sacred sites were defended and when Nikšić defended itself from those who saw it as prey

"We didn't change sides. We didn't enter and exit the battle as needed. We were there when things were breaking down. And we stayed. To this day, we believe in what we are doing, we believe in Nikšić moving forward," said Nemanja Vuković, the leader of the "We Are All Nikšić" list, in an address to citizens on the eve of the end of the campaign, the list announced.

He reminded them that they had been through a lot in the previous years.

"We fought for values, for the city, for the people. And every time it was difficult, we didn't wait and watch from the sidelines. We took responsibility and were where we needed to be. We stood by our people when it was the hardest," Vuković said.

"We were there when the sacred places were defended," he added.

"Not because it was popular, but because it was right. We were there when Nikšić defended himself, from the people who had humiliated him for years, divided him and pushed him into the dark."

"We were there when we had to defend ourselves from them and defend you from them. From the same ones who saw this city as prey and who worked exclusively for their own interests and the interests of their families. And now they are offering themselves again with new stories and old habits," Vuković pointed out.

The leader of the "We Are All Nikšić" list said that they are not looking for gratitude.

"We only ask that no one forgets where someone was when they were most needed and that everyone knows where we will be tomorrow. We are not here for elections and positions, we are here for Nikšić and for all of you! Because, we are all Nikšić! So on April 13th, circle the number 7, so that together we can accelerate progress," concluded Vuković.
