We will redirect this money into projects that can be seen and felt - the renovation of all facades in the city, the arrangement of parks and greenery, the creation of new jobs, the construction of a modern, clean and more environmentally conscious Nikšić, announced the voters' group "Work for my city".

They said they would stop the departure of young people, "because a city without youth has no future."

"Young people will have prospects through new jobs, subsidized apartments and a better social life. Nikšić will once again be a city that attracts people, not a city that people run away from. An airport for low-cost companies, sports leagues for school-age children, rich tourist content on Krupac and Slanje Lake - this will be part of the new Nikšić," the statement said.

"Work for my city" emphasized that they would return industry to the city.

"A glass factory for the whole of Montenegro, a plastic and paper recycling factory, production of concrete elements and a municipal quarry. With our quarry, we will lower construction prices and make apartments more accessible to all Nikšić residents, not just privileged individuals. We will open factories that will employ people, generate income and protect our environment," the statement reads.

They said they were aware of how long they had been suffering from the ecological disaster in Mislov Do.

"They closed it just a few months before the elections, thinking that we would forget the years of suffocation in smoke and neglect. Our answer is a long-term solution - the introduction of an environmental and health tax, stimulation of the purchase of ecological domestic products through our city market "Nikšić trgovinu" and mandatory purchase of packaging in all stores. Nikšić will gradually become the ecological leader of Montenegro. We will not divide you. We are not interested in where anyone comes from, but where we are going together. We want a community that values ​​work, honesty and people, not party membership or origin. It is time to come together around a common future," the statement said.

They announced that they would end the era of party recruitment.

"We will introduce a clear systematization, transparent competitions and equal opportunities. You will not have to have a party card to work – you will have to have knowledge, desire and expertise. Finally, we say openly: we will not cooperate with corrupt politicians. Our negotiations after the elections will be public, in front of the cameras, because we want citizens to clearly see how their interests are being defended and protected," said "Work for My City".

"Dear fellow citizens, our program is not a wish list, but a promise that we will fulfill together. It is time to return Nikšić to its citizens. It is time for new energy, for clean hands and an open heart. It is time to Work for my, your, our city! Don't wait for change! Be part of it – because Nikšić cannot wait another four years," they concluded.
