"At the moment we are having this conversation, I think that the presidents of all polling stations have already informed the Municipal Election Commission that the polling stations are open. There have been no significant problems, except for some consultations with representatives and presidents of polling stations regarding certain technical matters such as electronic identification devices and some legal consultations. There are people here who are in polling stations for the first time, although we have provided training, perhaps this beginning is a little more difficult for them, but I do not expect any significant problems," he pointed out.
RTHN states that the first information on the turnout of the MEC will be announced around nine o'clock.
"We will have the first turnout report around 12 am, then at 15, 20 pm, and then after XNUMX pm after the polling stations close. I expect the turnout to be high considering that these are local elections that directly affect the citizens of Herceg Novi, but the most important thing is that everything goes smoothly," said Radonić.

In the new convocation of the Municipal Assembly, citizens are electing 35 councilors, because according to the law on the election of councilors and deputies, it is prescribed that 30 councilors are elected in each municipality and one councilor seat is added for every 5.000 voters.
47 polling stations will be open for the local elections in Herceg Novi.
