Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandić informed the heads of parliamentary groups that after additional consultations with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, he will make a final decision on whether the parliament will discuss and decide on agreements with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today, "Vijesti" has learned unofficially.
A "Vijesti" source from this morning's collegium of the President of the Parliament said that at the session of that body, a representative of Spajić's Europe Now Movement (PES) said that agreements with the UAE should be on today's agenda of the legislative chamber's session, and that Mandić said that he respects the request of the Prime Minister, who requested that the agenda be supplemented with these items, but that he would make the final decision after talking with him and informing parliamentarians about it.
Spajić is currently in the Parliament building.
The opposition, the source claims, announced at the collegium that it sees no reason to urgently discuss and decide on agreements with the Emirates today.
The parliamentary session is scheduled for today at 12 noon, but has not yet started.
