Democratic Montenegro does not need better confirmation of the great support it enjoys in Cetinje than "the nervousness that crept into the ranks of the Democratic Party of Socialists, which they expressed in their statement," said the Democrats, reacting to announcement of the Cetinje DPS board in which they called the visit of this party to Cetinje a "traveling circus".
As they state, the DPS in the fight for voter trust against the Democrats will not be helped by "frequent meetings in the Municipality building held in the dead of night when the honest world is sleeping".
"Not even the advice they get from the psychiatric clinics in the capital of the neighboring country that they love will help them when they destroy their own, and neither will renouncing Montenegrin citizenship, nor taking the citizenship of neighboring countries, when we politically trample them in the Montenegrin capital," they add. from the Democrats.
As they state, their false promises to the citizens will be in vain.
"Traveling applauders and the traveling audience they will bring to their conventions are in vain. Milutin Simović and his jokes about the awakened Cetinje economy are in vain. It is also in vain for them that Branislav Mićunović appears again on election day to spread fear in the streets of Cetinje," they state.
Democrats emphasize that they are not afraid of anyone and that "they will not be afraid of anyone until Cetinje and the citizens of Cetinje are returned every euro that was stolen from them."
"Let the jugglers with caps continue to present themselves as the protectors of the nation, so the people of Cetinje will explain to them in the upcoming local elections what they think of those who consider the national feelings of the people of Cetinje so fragile that they would disappear if there were no DPS," said the Democrats.
As they reminded, there are members of all nationalities among the Democrats in Cetinje.
"But none of us individually in the course of our lives was one thing, then another, in order to rob all the nations in Montenegro in that way. You are quite naive if you think that the people of Cetinje are people of the Palanic spirit and that they will choose an honest political option with good intentions towards Cetinje and its citizens should be rejected only because there are people of different nationalities in it. And the people of Cetinje only divide people into good and bad," said Democrats.
They reminded that it is a homogeneous environment, like Budva, Kotor, Herceg Novi and all other cities in Montenegro.
"And then why don't we beat you in Cetinje as we did in Budva, Kotor and Herceg Novi? All the more so that the previous government in Cetinje, as well as in Herceg Novi, was from the head of Svetozar Marović. It will be another victory for us in in a row over the Marovićs and organized criminal groups that met in the former mayor's house," the Democrats concluded.
