"I think that the "bears" in Montenegro have been causing great damage in recent years," said Petar Odžić, deputy president of the SDP and representative of the European Union, today.
The European Union stated in a statement that Odžić ironically commented on the statement of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Vladimir Joković.
"NTheir 'problematic behavior' threatens territorial independence, economy, trade, tourism, air accessibility, standards, etc. "I think that 'pension' is a much more adequate measure to combat this kind of 'bear' behavior in Montenegro," concluded Odžić.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management said yesterday that the emergency shooting of a brown bear, which is a legally protected species of wild animal, can be approved if it is a problematic individual that poses a danger, especially in the case of an attack on a person.
