The government has allocated 1,6 million euros in compensation for the families of civilian victims of the wars of the XNUMXs, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced.
"Montenegro is correcting decades of injustice - compensation for the families of civilian victims of the wars of the 90s. The government has allocated 100 thousand euros each to 16 families of victims of the tragic events in Štrpci, during the bombing of Murin and Tuzi, and during the deportation of refugees. Based on the information adopted today by the 44th Government, the families will be paid 50 thousand euros each this year, and another 2026 thousand euros in XNUMX. The loss of loved ones is irreparable, but respecting basic human rights, equal treatment, and restoring trust in institutions is our obligation. By facing the past, we are building a better future," Spajić wrote on Iks.
