Democrats: DPS is hurt that we have a security sector that cannot be bought or blackmailed

Montenegro today has a security sector that cannot be bought, blackmailed, or silenced, and that is what hurts the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) the most, the Democrats announced.

They reacted to today's announcement by DPS.

"The citizens of Montenegro can breathe a sigh of relief, because they no longer have the security sector that the DPS created and controlled for years, a sector that was managed by regional executioners, mafia associates, clan heads and political henchmen known for the most serious crimes. Today, we have a sector that cannot be bought, blackmailed or silenced. And that is what hurts the DPS the most. Because when they cannot manage the system, they try to overturn it. When they cannot stop the truth, they produce lies. When they cannot scare the institutions, they use their old channels: M portal, E television and Analitika. But as countless times before, their hoaxes were today shattered before the public by the Director of the Police Administration, Lazar Šćepanović, clearly, calmly and with facts. Exactly the way the truth shatters them, quietly, precisely and with arguments," say the Democrats.

They say that "no one is above the law anymore", and they accused the DPS of "fighting for crime".

They said that citizens will "find out in the coming days how the Police Directorate's coffers were looted during the tourist season" and "exactly through high-ranking DPS party officials."

"The DPS accuses someone, and during their term of office 711 people were killed, and during their last government alone, 96. Unlike them, we do not use victims for political promotion. We do not write statements over corpses. We do not protect suspected executioners, perpetrators of other criminal organizations, as they protected Zvicer, Kašćelan, Medenica, Kaluđerović and Lazović for years. The state tries them. The state arrests them. And there is no longer anyone who is above the law. Since the election of the new management of the Police Administration, the security sector has been attacked by persons suspected of serious murders, attempted murders, professional executioners, smugglers, criminals and the Democratic Party of Socialists. These six now share the same media, the same messages and the same goal: to stop justice before it reaches them. That is why the raised tone is because these days the ministers and the director of the Police Administration are handing out mass dismissals to the police officers they recruited to convey messages to their criminal structures. That is why today in Montenegro everyone knows that the DPS is fighting crime, "and we are against him. And that is the only truth. And, in these days, citizens will additionally learn how the Police Directorate's coffers were looted during the tourist season, and precisely through high-ranking DPS party officials," the reaction reads.
