"At the invitation of President Milatović, he will visit our country in June, which will be an additional incentive for improving bilateral relations. The meeting confirmed the friendly relations between the two countries and their mutual commitment to further strengthening cooperation on the basis of mutual trust and shared Euro-Atlantic values," the statement said.

The Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro said that Montenegro expressed its gratitude to Estonia for its strong support for its candidacy for the status of an associate member of the Three Seas Initiative.
"The vision of this initiative, which includes strengthening infrastructure and digital connectivity, economic development, energy security and cyber resilience, fully coincides with Montenegro's strategic goals within the framework of European integration," said Milatović.

The statement states that the talks particularly highlighted Estonia's continued support for Montenegro's European integration process.
"Montenegro appreciates Estonia's willingness to continue providing expert assistance, especially in the areas of the rule of law, environmental protection, sustainable development and efficient use of European Union funds," said Milatović.
The Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro also announced that the recent visit of the current High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union (EU) and former Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaja Kalas, to Montenegro was assessed as a strong signal of support for Montenegro's European path and its commitment to the EU's common foreign and security policy.

"The interlocutors also confirmed their shared commitment to Euro-Atlantic values and continued cooperation within the NATO alliance. Special emphasis was placed on cybersecurity, given Montenegro's membership in the NATO Center of Excellence for Cooperative Cyber Defense in Tallinn since 2020, as well as the significant role of the Estonian Electronic Governance Academy (eGA) in strengthening Montenegro's cyber capacities. In order to further improve bilateral cooperation, the need to strengthen economic cooperation and attract Estonian investments was emphasized, especially in the areas of digital transformation, tourism and sustainable infrastructure," the press release of the Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro reads.
