A strong incentive for attracting investments is provided by the agreement that Montenegro recently signed with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which relates specifically to the areas of sustainable development and investment partnerships, announced today Darko Gazdić, Vice President of the Municipality of Pljevlja and member of the Initial Board of the Europe Now Movement (PES) Pljevlja.
"This document opens the door to concrete projects and cooperation, especially in northern municipalities like Pljevlja," Gazdić pointed out in a statement provided by PES.
He said that the Municipality of Pljevlja is resolutely entering a new development phase and invites domestic and foreign investors to recognize the potential of this city for investments in the field of sustainable development and tourism.
"The goal is to position Pljevlja not only as an industrial center, but also as a modern local community based on the principles of green economy and long-term sustainability. The focus of future investments are projects stemming from the clearly defined Pljevlja Recovery Plan, which includes strategic initiatives for improving infrastructure, the environment and the tourist offer. Of particular importance is the development of tourism through the valorization of natural pearls - the Ljubišnja and Kovač mountains, as well as the Meander of the Ćehotina River, which can make Pljevlja a recognizable destination on the regional and international market," said Gazdić.
He also said that the Municipality of Pljevlja emphasizes its readiness to actively support all investors who share the vision of long-term development based on the needs of the community, the preservation of natural resources and the creation of new economic values.
"Cooperation with responsible partners is key to building a stable, competitive and sustainable local economy," said Gazfić.
