The Budva Municipality building is painted red tonight on the occasion of Independence Day.

The leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists list in the previous local elections in Budva, Nikola Milović, posted photos on the social network X and congratulated the citizens of Budva on Independence Day.

"Dear fellow citizens, with the desire to develop our Budva as a modern, European and civic capital of tourism, I wish you a happy May 21st - Independence Day. May Montenegro be eternal!", said Milović.

As a reminder, DPS provided so-called project support in the local parliament, thus enabling the formation of a government in the tourism metropolis.

In previous years, Independence Day was not celebrated in Budva.

The Montenegrin, EU and Budva Municipality flags were also placed on the roundabouts.
