I am proud to point out that I am against Montenegro's entry into the European Union (EU), said today the president of the Free Montenegro, Vladislav Dajković, to the president of the Liberal Party and one of the leaders of the European Alliance, Vatroslav Belan.
Dajković reacted to Belan's statement, which, among other things, states that Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović "is building 'values of togetherness' in Podgorica with Dajković, who says that Montenegro has no place in the EU."
"I am surprised by Vatroslav Belan's great concern for the situation in Podgorica, considering that there is not a single councilor in the capital of Montenegro. His coalition partners from the European Union value him so much that they gave him a position that even GPS cannot find - probably somewhere between the political margin and a statistical error. Comparing me to fascists and Nazis is shameful and miserable, but not unexpected from a man who thinks that anti-fascism is a cover for his political insignificance," Dajković pointed out in a statement.
He added that "of course Vatroslav Belan cannot understand Vladislav Dajković - a descendant of old Montenegro, the Montenegro of Njegoš and the Metropolitan, the Montenegro of free people, who never bowed their backs - neither to the Turks, nor to the Austro-Hungarians, nor to the fascists."
"And we will not bend it today, in front of modern occupiers from NATO and the Brussels bureaucracy. We do not hide that we believe that Montenegro has no place in the European Union, nor in the NATO alliance. We say this freely, without fear, without shame, because we are honest. And that is precisely why the people respect us, which is confirmed by the fact that our political party is represented in the parliaments in Podgorica, Berane and Nikšić - where the Liberal Party is not even on the map," said Dajković.
