The Acting Director of the National Security Agency (ANB), Ivica Janović, met today with the Ambassador of Italy to Montenegro, Andrea Marcello, at the Agency's headquarters.
The ANB announced that during the meeting, mutual satisfaction was highlighted with the dynamic cooperation between the Italian and Montenegrin sides in terms of an efficient response to current international challenges.
"During the conversation, the interlocutors emphasized the importance of preserving a secure environment in the region, as a necessary condition for progress in initiatives and projects that are of common interest to the two countries. In this context, Ambassador Marcela emphasized Italy's full support for Montenegro's European path, as well as for strengthening Montenegrin capacities as a NATO ally and future EU member," the statement reads.
