Slovak President Peter Pelegrini will pay an official visit to Montenegro on May 30, at the invitation of President Jakov Milatović.
Pellegrini will be welcomed at the Residence in Cetinje, with the highest state and military honors, followed by a conversation between the two officials.
After signing the guest book and meeting the two delegations, the heads of state will make public statements and plant a friendship tree in the courtyard of the Residence in Cetinje.
Also, Milatović and Pelegrini will open a business forum attended by Montenegrin and Slovak businessmen.
In the presence of Milatović, the pilgrims will lay a wreath at the Monument to the Partisan Fighter on Gorica Hill in Podgorica, and then the President of Montenegro will host a gala lunch in honor of his Slovak colleague.
"The upcoming official visit of the President of Slovakia represents a strong incentive for further improvement of interstate relations, but also the continuation of President Milatović's strong diplomatic activity on Montenegro's path towards full EU membership by 2028," the Montenegrin President's office announced.
