Eraković: The interrupted session of the Anti-Corruption Committee is proof of an attempt to politically influence the ASK Council

Today's interrupted session of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro is evidence of an attempt to politically influence the Council of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) ahead of tomorrow's session of the Council, announced today Jevto Eraković, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee and MP of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).

"It is obvious that the authorities in Montenegro continue to exert illegal influence on 'independent' institutions," Eraković wrote on the social network X.

Due to the failure to adopt the agenda, the 15th session of the Anti-Corruption Committee was adjourned today.

Today's agenda item was the presentation of the ASK work report for the first quarter of 2025.
