Unfortunately, everything indicates that the reconstruction of Vojislavljevića Street is a marketing campaign for the current government, and not a serious infrastructure project, said the president of the European Union Councilors' Club in the Capital City Assembly.
"Vojislavljevića Street is deserted again. The reason may be that there are no TV crews interested in statements today, so there is no rush with the apparent work. For the needs of TV cameras, the street was dug up for the previous two days, an image was created that something was happening, and that's where everything stopped. Again, there is no machinery or workers, just dust, chaos and columns. Zabjelo was completely blocked today, since the early morning hours," Mašković stated in a post on the Iks platform.
He said that the expropriation has still only been completed for the first kilometer, and the works are apparently being carried out exclusively in accordance with the TV filming schedule, and not according to realistic deadlines.
"This no longer looks like improvisation, but rather an open mockery of citizens who suffer the consequences of their irresponsibility every day," concluded the European Union councilor.
