Democratic Councilors' Club: For decades, they have equated DPS with the state, institutions, clubs, and now there is nervousness

That you are criticizing the politicization of anything, when you have been appointing top party officials to leading positions in numerous clubs and national associations for years and decades, and regularly placing national team players and athletes on election lists and in parliaments, equating DPS with the state, institutions, clubs, associations for decades. You have politicized everything, and criminalized the state and its institutions. You have subjugated the state to the mafia, and turned the leaders of institutions into servants of crime according to the words and accusations of the competent state authorities.

This was announced by the Democratic Montenegro Councilors' Club in the Capital City Assembly, reacting to a statement by the DPS Councilors' Club, which assessed that the fiasco of the celebration of the centenary of FK Budućnost is a reflection of chaos and disorganization in the Capital City.

"The statement from the DPS Councilors' Club has finally exposed everything. Thank you for coming out of hiding and finally admitting that you are behind all the disgusting and dirty campaigns, manipulations, abuses and lies that are being spread regarding FK Budućnost. Thank you for admitting that it is you and the underground that is your source who are behind all the dancing, nastiness and drawing targets for people.

"Your malice and envy know no bounds. Every anniversary, every success and every victory of Buducnost is your nightmare. Last night, a new persecution began after the ceremony and concert passed peacefully, decently and in a spirit of unity, where no one emphasized any affiliation other than love for the Club. All contrary to your wishes," the Democrats said in a statement.

The party told the DPS councilors in the Capital City Assembly that instead of congratulating the players, coach and coaching staff on the historic championship title, the number of points won and goals scored, the unprecedented affirmation and football expansion of young players, they are organizing continuous, as they say, demonization with their performers, working directly against the interests of the club.

And now, the Democrats add, there is nervousness and alarm at various levels because you see that the process of vetting, cleansing institutions of unauthorized influences, and fighting crime cannot be stopped by anyone or anything.

"The miracle is panic. Nothing will stop the riot. We can't wait to continue settling accounts, checking connections, businesses and money flows. Let's enjoy the continuation of the rule of law. Tell the nervous fugitives from justice that no one will ever be stronger than the state. Montenegro and Buducnost love each other with their hearts, not their pockets. With love, not crime. With unity, not looting. Long live the true patriots of our city and our country," the statement concludes.
