Instead of continuing the Limited Prices campaign, citizens received an increase in the prices of bread, utility services and fuel, announced Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) MP Mihailo Anđušić.
He wrote on his account on the social network X that the relevant Ministry announced on April 29th that from May 15th we will have new measures or a continuation of the Limited Prices campaign.
"This was also the only mechanism implemented by the Government to 'prevent' inflation," said Andjušić.
He said that May 15th has passed, and almost two months have passed since the direct promise.
"In the meantime, in return, we have received increases in the prices of bread, utility services and fuel," added Andjušić.
He wrote that, according to official Monstat data, after everything we are witnessing, the prices of key products and services for citizens are about four percent higher compared to the same period last year.
"These are data that are beyond dispute and are actually the only factual situation in relation to everything you hear from the Government and the parliamentary majority, when it comes to the standard of living and the general economic situation. The economy of an artificial coma," concluded Andjušić.
