The Presidency of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) will nominate Nikola Rakočević for Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro.
At the party presidency meeting, Mihailo Andjušić was elected political director of the party, and Sonja Popović was elected spokesperson.
The formation of the Strategic Communications and Analysis Service was also announced.
"The Presidency of the Democratic Party of Socialists, at its session held today, considered the current political situation and began the process of filling certain positions within the party as a continuation of the reform aimed at further developing the party and further improving efficiency in its work. In this context, Nikola Rakočević was elected Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mihailo Anđušić as Political Director, and Sonja Popović as Party Spokesperson. Coordinators for municipal committees for the next four years were also appointed at today's session. The formation of the Strategic Communication and Analysis Service was also announced, as well as further continuation of filling positions in the field of international cooperation, political council and political foundation," the DPS announced.
It is added that the current political situation in the country was also analyzed, with an emphasis on current circumstances, as well as defining responses to upcoming processes and preparations for the next parliamentary elections.
