Another police officer has been dismissed from the Police Directorate, announced today Aleksa Bečić, Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Defense, Fight against Crime and Internal Policy and Coordinator of the Bureau for Operational Coordination of Intelligence and Security Sector Bodies (BOK).
"After the procedures were carried out, another person's employment was terminated, whose engagement was not in accordance with the law, ethics and interests of the state. We continue our determined and systematic fight for a clean security sector. Numerous checks, internal controls, property controls and security assessments are underway. No one will be protected. There are no more untouchables," Bečić stressed in a statement.
He added that serving citizens is not a privilege, but a responsibility.
"And anyone who betrayed that responsibility has betrayed the state. There is no turning back from this process. Reforms are no longer announced, they are being implemented. Montenegro has decided to stand on the side of law, order and integrity. And no one can stop that anymore," said Bečić.
