The head of the Club and Secretary General of the Democrats, Boris Bogdanović, announced that after the arrest of the head of the Danilovgrad Police Department, Marko Drobnjak, and several other people, accusations are being made that the arrests are political.
"As we could read today, the head of the Danilovgrad police station and another police official were arrested in a series of arrested high-ranking police officers. And now the warning message from Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić to immediate police superiors who do not initiate proceedings against police officers, who remain silent about evil, who hide accomplices in uniform and act like the Montenegrin Koštunica is much clearer to everyone. And you know what comes next? Not the truth. Not remorse. But accusations that the arrests are political," Bogdanović said in a statement.
Officers of the Special Police Department (SPO) searched the premises of the Danilovgrad police today, on the orders of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT).
As Vijesti has learned, the head of the Danilovgrad Security Department (SB), Marko Drobnjak, has been arrested.
In addition to him, Ivan Popović, Mato Knežević and several other people were arrested.

"Now you understand why they are afraid of vetting. Because they are not defending the law, but their own people. People they themselves appointed, promoted, and sent into the field, not to serve the people, but to serve the party and the centers of power," said Bogdanović.
According to him, they are not against vetting because of the procedures, but because vetting sees what they have been hiding for years.
"That's why they're shouting. That's why they're spreading panic. That's why they're hysterically attacking anyone who says the word 'vetting'. Because they know what comes next when the truth starts to come out, because they know that justice doesn't just hit those with badges, but also those who brought them there," Bogdanović pointed out.
He added that this time too, justice will not stop.
"Neither party whining, nor media clamor, nor false victims, nor Aco Mijajlović, nor his media, nor his editors, nor his demonstrators will stop it. Because vetting does not ask for a membership card. It asks for the truth. And it sees everything. And it sees you, who panic as soon as vetting is mentioned. And we know exactly why you are screaming," Bogdanović concluded.
