The President of the Municipality of Pljevlja and a member of the main board of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), Dario Vraneš, said that he was "pleasantly surprised" by the news that Milan Lekić had been elected president of the Pljevlja board of the NSD.
"I was pleasantly surprised by the news that you received a mandate during a telephone session to lead the Temporary Municipal Board of New Serbian Democracy in Pljevlja in the coming period," Vraneš announced.
He added that he is confident that Lekić will continue to lead the board in the upcoming period, in a transparent manner and with the strengthening of democratic capacities.
"As before, you will, without hiding anything, regularly inform the board members about the party's plans, as well as the program and spending of party funds that the party receives from the Municipality in the amount of 5.000 euros per month," Vranes stated.

He is especially pleased, he said, that the Pljevlja Municipal Board has included new members "whom the citizens of Pljevlja know well and are known for their consistent fight against the Democratic Party of Socialists."
"In the hope that in your next term you will demonstrate all your knowledge and abilities as you have done so far, I extend my warmest congratulations," said Vranes.
