NSD Budva: Jovanović's statement was written last night in a DPS-run hotel in Podgorica

The Municipal Board of the New Serbian Democracy in Budva accused the Mayor of the Municipality, Nikola Jovanović, of having written a statement to him by Milan Roćen, telling him to have no shame. They were reacting to Jovanović's accusation that Andrija Mandić was personally behind the attack on him.

"What we suspected from the very beginning has come true, the OKG DPS is only using Nikola Jovanović and his personal conflict with the Mitrović family to open a new factory of lies and vomit. Budva knows that Jovanović's statement was written by DPS because the style of Milan Roćen is very easy to recognize. According to the information we have, the statement that appeared a few hours ago under the signature of Nikola Jovanović was written last night in a DPS hotel in Podgorica. It is clear that Jovanović, as the weakest link in the winners since August 30, 2020, believes that Budva is naive and that its citizens do not know that he betrayed the majority will of this city and reintroduced the DPS and SDP into power in Budva in a big way, and that this OKG now has him in its grip. This shameful position will not be improved at all by attacking our president Andrija Mandić, a proven fighter against the regime and the strongest link in the parliamentary majority, all on the orders of the OKG DPS," they stated in the reaction.

The NSD Budva says that "once again we want to condemn any use of force in the proportions of the people here, because the law must be above all of us and only according to these rules that are binding for everyone is it possible to resolve all misunderstandings."

"No one is allowed to break the law, no one can, arrogantly laughing at our city and Montenegro, claim that he is above the law. Jovanović has risen not only above the will of the citizens but also above the law. He signed illegal decisions, which the court has unequivocally established, expelled and dismissed the deputy mayor of the municipality, Mrs. Dokić, illegally dismissed elected municipal officials, and today he still mocks the law by not allowing the councilor to be elected who the people have given their trust. At some point, he will have to answer for violating the laws of Montenegro, for everything he has done to our city and for all the lies he has shamelessly told. As for us from New Serbian Democracy, no one wishes you any harm, Jovanović, you attacked this city, these people, divided and divided everyone in order to become president. Why didn't you run for president in Mojkovac? They won't want you there, and you won't either, because it is more useful to be at the head of Budva with DPS. In Mojkovac, you would be booed if you tried to do what "You did it in Budva, because they also brought down DPS there and any fraudster who would try to bring them back, against the will of the people, would be severely politically punished," the response states, adding:

"As for the conflict with the Mitrović family, everyone in Budva knows that it is personal. It dates back to the time of the local election campaign, when you highly respected that family to Nikola Jovanović, and addressed Vidak Mitrović as "Uncle Vido" out of courtesy. Who met you, who promised what to whom, who lied and messed around in 2022, Andrija Mandić certainly does not know, nor does he care, and it is certain that he does not want to have anything to do with the fact that Nikola Jovanović returned the title of the corruption capital of Montenegro to Budva," the NSD Budva point out.

It is shameful, as they emphasize, "that Jovanović is using this personal conflict and the physical injuries you sustained during it to impose on yourself the halo of a saint and great martyr, additionally attacking Andrija Mandić at the behest of the DPS and OKG."

"We know that you and your new company will not stop, because serving the DPS means constantly proving that all of you have permanently broken with the past of the Democratic Front, of which you were a member, together with your group. And that is precisely why we will conduct all future polemics with the DPS, which orders and publishes these texts, while you are just a simple platform for their dirty work. You betrayed everyone you embraced, Jovanović, you later spat on everyone you kissed on the cheek like Judas, be ashamed, even though you prove every day that you have no shame," the statement concludes.
