President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović received the newly appointed ambassadors of Montenegro to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Croatia and Bulgaria - Dubravka Lalović, Olivera Injac, Milisav Raspopović, Dejan Vuković and Đorđe Janković.
Milatović congratulated the ambassadors on their election to an important position for Montenegro and wished them success in carrying out their diplomatic mission, his office announced.
"In a conversation with the ambassadors, President Milatović expressed his expectation that during their mandate they will make an additional contribution to the achievement of the country's foreign policy goals, Montenegro's full membership in the European Union, credible membership in NATO, as well as strengthening the international reputation of our country," the statement reads.
The European Union is our work action, every day and in every job, said Milatović, emphasizing the commitment to European integration as a priority strategic direction of our country.
"With gratitude to President Milatović for the reception and the honor bestowed upon him, the ambassadors emphasized that it is a privilege to represent Montenegro and that during their diplomatic mandates they will work to improve relations between Montenegro and the countries in which they carry out their missions," it was announced.
