Leković: The criminal organization to which Petrović belongs was created during the DPS era

Democratic Montenegro MP Momčilo Leković announced today that during the time of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), a criminal organization was created to which Podgorica resident Nikola Petrović (23) belonged, who was arrested today in Sutomore on suspicion of murdering fellow citizen Ivan Milačić on July 20.

"Following the express arrest of the suspect in this serious crime, fierce attacks are expected from the DPS, the party during whose time the criminal organization to which this perpetrator belongs was created. Because it is known: the DPS fights crime, and we against it. Because it is known that according to them, institutions are healthy and correct only as long as they protect their personnel. And as soon as someone from that milieu falls, then 'the system collapses', 'chaos is spreading', 'politically motivated arrest', 'disarray in the security sector' and similar platitudes that have been recycled for a year," Leković pointed out in a statement.

He added, "get the popcorn ready."

"What follows is a spectacle of 'concern' for the rule of law and security, from those who trampled on them the most," said Leković.
