Balidemaj: Milatović will sign the law, reluctantly, but he wants to

Vice President of the Albanian Alternative Edon Balidemaj assessed that Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović did not sign the Law on Real Estate Tax for political reasons, while he said that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Nika Đeljošaja is synonymous with a political entity to which all the top parameters of political and economic prosperity of Albanians in Montenegro are tied.

Balidemaj said that success is not forgiven, for anyone, and "especially not for those who show through their results that they are better."

"And, you were taught from a young age that he is inferior, that he is unenlightened, that he is not even close to your level of cultural, social and economic development. Fed up with prejudices, you enter, sometimes by accident, into public space, and usually – you fail! Just as the President of Montenegro failed, for the umpteenth time! It would be, indeed, incoherent to list all the facts that point to the obvious reasons why he decided to exercise his constitutionally established right and return the Law on Real Estate Tax to the legislative house for reconsideration. The composition of the cabinet of the President of Montenegro, which is made up of spent personnel, but also political, family and friendly ties with people who still have ties to "Plantaže", the history of "Plantaže" since the time when it was "Agrokombinat 13. jul" to its relationship with the Municipality of Tuzi, combined with malicious hopes that the project of an independent Municipality of Tuzi will prove to be futile – anyone who has logic "Anything that connects cause and effect leads to the same conclusion: that the President of Montenegro did not sign this Law for political (not to say populist) reasons!", he said.

He pointed out that it is very difficult to find the real cause of such a decision.

"I am not a psychiatrist, I only know the President superficially, through a few protocol meetings, more through his public appearances, but several facts are imposed that no one should ignore: Nik Đeljošaj is at the head of the Ministry of Economic Development, which, according to the latest report, has fulfilled 20 out of 21 obligations set out in the plan. So, 95,2 percent! He is at the head of the same ministry that he recently headed – Jakov Milatović! Go back to the first sentence of this text and don't forget the Montenegrin letter!", he added.

Balidemaj points out that "whether anyone wants to admit it or not, whether anyone likes it or not, Nik Đeljošaj is synonymous with a political entity to which all the top parameters of the political and economic prosperity of Albanians in our Montenegro are tied, especially since 2019."

"I will not remind you of the position of Albanians in Montenegro since 1881, which during the rule of the DPS was sublimated in one phrase: 'honest Albanian'! Nik Đeljošaj and all those represented by the Albanian Forum will never agree to be such, 'honest Albanians'. Because, such, no, for the sake of personal interests, have never raised their voice for the general, collective good of the entire Malesija, the entire Albanian people in Montenegro, but have been satisfied with crumbs from the luxurious table of capital projects that were implemented far from the places where Albanians live. Since 2019, places inhabited by a majority Albanian population have also been developing in Montenegro. 'Some new kids' have arrived who do not agree at any cost to let particular interests prevail over the collective good of Malesija, Gusinje, Ulcinj... but also of the whole of Montenegro! But, it is also true that a special narrative is being created: because Nik asks for everything he wants, he asks loudly! And clearly! But, not for himself, but for your national community, not at the expense of the interests of Montenegro! And the logic is clear: silence the one who is the loudest by all means! No passaran, so be the President! What, what! ", emphasizes Balidemaj.

He added that he does not ignore vanity.

"Especially those personalities whose position is not the result of some personal ambition, charisma (you hear me - charisma) or achievements, but fell to him as a result of the moment. Because, let me remind you, he even gained his candidacy as a reserve player for someone better than him! In the game of illusions about one's own greatness, every form of criticism is perceived as an attack on the personality, because the supernatural truth threatens to be revealed that someone has received something undeservedly! Instead of gratitude and dedicated work for the sake of the interests of all of Montenegro - one moves into an infantile phase of pride, and screenshots appear as a shield of one's own powerlessness! And, especially when they are published on the former Twitter: exactly where the current President already has an army of bots that not only do not hide, but promote their Albanophobic views," said Balidemaj.

He added that the Law will be adopted, as he said, not because of Niko Đeljošaj, not because of the Municipality of Tuzi, but for the common good of Montenegro.

"And he will sign it! Reluctantly! But he will! This will remain just another episode in the life and career of someone who, in one term, inadvertently, from the bench to the presidency! Just don't give him the nickname - Nejaki! The Japanese say that vanity diminishes a great man, and disfigures a small man!", concluded Balidemaj.
