Leave aside the badges, insignia and other spins to divert political attention to divisions and the deterioration of neighborly relations, because very soon we will have nothing to live on, said today the deputy president of the Social Democratic Party of Montenegro (SDP) and representative of the European Union, Petar Odžić.
"If there is a responsible person in the Government of Montenegro, this should be a red line! If we continue like this, very soon it will not matter who rules Montenegro," said Odžić.
According to him, "the season is on its knees (except for the tourism ministers)", a record low import-export coverage, a PIO fund deficit of close to 250 million, and now a huge budget deficit in June means new debts to maintain current liquidity.
"Immediately reduce the VAT rate in tourism, in order to save at least the next season, and adapt the fiscal strategy to the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, if we want our pensions to be regular, and if we do not want to pay them out of loans," said Odžić.
