Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Milun Zogović met with the Russian Ambassador to Montenegro Alexander Lukashik.
As announced by the Government, the interlocutors exchanged information on the possibilities of bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and Russia, including issues related to the portfolio of Deputy Prime Minister Zogović.
"Both sides expressed a desire to create the preconditions for cooperation between the two countries to develop in the future in the interests of both countries and their inhabitants. During the meeting, Vice President Zogović reviewed past relations between Montenegro and Russia and pointed out the great importance of these relations for our country and people. Zogović particularly emphasized the connections between Montenegro and Russia in the fields of history, spirituality, culture, tradition and education," the statement reads.
