Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Nik Đeljošaj was questioned at the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, in connection with a report by the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, that he had threatened him.
After the hearing, he said that he had given a statement in his capacity as a citizen due to the report filed by Milatović.
"The communication was not just that day. As politicians, we comment on various political events. Only part of it was published, not the entire communication. Everyone takes responsibility. I think the decision he made was not good. A cabinet associate influenced the decision," Đeljošaj said after the hearing.

Đeljošaj also said that he was sorry that Milatović "brought them into this circus, for the sake of the citizens and the political structure that I represent."
"Our communication was between two politicians - me as the leader of the Albanian Forum and him as a politician who participated in the last elections in Podgorica," said Đeljošaj.
When asked how he commented on Milatović's position that the law was written for one man, he replied that it was a matter of changing theses.
"I am sure of the reason I stated and I stated it in the message. The former president of the Plantaž board of directors amended this law three and a half years ago. At that time, the Minister of Economic Development was the current president..."
"We as the Government, the Assembly, the Municipality of Tuzi want the recovery of Plantaže. The Municipality is ready to waive taxes until Plantaže recovers. The Municipality and Plantaže are partners," added Đeljošaj.
He pointed out that in recent days he has witnessed pressure from the President's office on institutions.
"I will not exert any influence on the decisions of institutions. Our prosecution has its own independence and should work based on the Constitution and the law."
Minister of Public Administration and Đeljošaj's party colleague Maraš Dukaj was in front of the ODT.
Milatović will also be questioned on the same occasion at 12 noon today.
Milatović's cabinet announced on Friday that Đeljošaj threatened him after the president returned the Real Estate Tax Law to the Parliament for reconsideration.
In the messages, among other things, Đeljošaj wrote to Milatović that he should not have returned the law and that he expected a reaction from Albanians at all levels and wherever they have influence, and told him that he would get the response he deserved.
Đeljošaj, on the other hand, rejected accusations that he had made threats and said that Milatović returned the disputed law because of, as he claims, nepotistic ties with Nebojša Vuksanović, former president of the Board of Directors of Plantaže, "in order to obtain personal benefit for himself and him."
Television Vijesti was told that Vuksanović is not Milatović's godfather, but was recently hired as an associate in his cabinet.
Milatović announced that he returned the law due to, as he claims, a violation of the Constitution, legal uncertainty and the possibility that 22.000 farmers would lose tax breaks.
