That the talk of the Europe Now Movement (PES) about meritocracy, professionalization of administration, etc. is just empty pre-election chatter is also shown by the example of the President of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, Milica Lalatović Žižić, who, in just two months since taking office, has hired several people under different contracts, claims the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Councilors' Club in the Nikšić Municipal Assembly (SO).
"Of course, these are all party-friendly individuals, because it is now PES' turn to employ its own cronies in the already overcrowded local administration. Among the newly hired, imagine the director of the 'Ratko Žarić' Elementary School, where the President of the Municipal Assembly Milica Lalatović Žižić has an established employment relationship. So we ask the Minister of Education - is she aware of this case that the school director advises the President of the Municipal Assembly in her free time, although irregularities in the election of the same as the school director are also known. We ask PES, are you not exaggerating a bit, and now - in addition to the director's salary, you need another salary, and on top of all that, you also run private sports schools," their statement states.
The DPS councilors' club also asks whether Lalatović Žižić is "at least a little ashamed to hire his own director and frantically hire" his party's staff.
"What about meritocracy, professionalization, equal opportunities? The president of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly must have been intoxicated by the smell of the linden trees she planted in the middle of the fire season, or maybe she was intoxicated by the smell and taste of power," the statement concludes.
