Milatović at the Bled Strategic Forum

At the invitation of Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović will participate on September 1 and 2 at the Bled Strategic Forum, which is being held for the 20th time under the motto "A World Spinning Out of Control".

As announced by the President's Office, he will speak at a presidential panel whose participants include Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar, Estonian President Alar Karis, and Czech President Petr Pavel.

It was announced that Milatović will meet with European Council President Antonio Košta and Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar on the sidelines of the conference. The topic of the conversation will be the European integration process from the Montenegrin perspective.

"For our country, participation in such international gatherings represents an opportunity to strongly affirm its European path and demonstrate in action that the European Union is no longer a mere political ambition, but a working action that takes place every day with a clear goal: EU membership by 2028. Over the two decades of its existence, the Bled Strategic Forum has grown into the leading international conference in Central and Southeastern Europe, and a platform dedicated to creating a sustainable world and expert discussion of the most important challenges of today," it was announced.
