PES: Broken doors to our party offices in Pljevlja, pressure will not discourage or intimidate us

The Europe Now Movement (PES) announced that the door to their party offices in Pljevlja had been broken.

"This act represents an attempt to stop the energy of change that is increasingly visible in our city. We send a clear message: neither breaking doors nor any pressure will discourage or intimidate us," PES said in a statement.

They add that "those who have neither a program nor a vision resort to vandalism and try to retain the spirit of a past marked by stagnation and division."

"Their only weapon is destruction. Ours - the trust of citizens and a clear vision of the future. This attack is given additional weight by the fact that it occurred immediately after we presented key development opportunities for Pljevlja - projects for heating the city and improving the water supply system, as well as investments in school and health infrastructure."

PES also states that "instead of dialogue about the future, they are faced with attempts at intimidation and division."

"While our political opponents offer destruction and fuel nationalism and intolerance, we persist in a policy that brings people together and offers concrete solutions. The projects we are implementing - district heating, ecological reconstruction of the 'Pljevlja' thermal power plant, relocation of the Ćehotina riverbed, the Crnča–Pljevlja–Goražde expressway, a new hospital, an indoor swimming pool and a multifunctional hall, reconstruction of the Army Home into an Athlete Accommodation Center, the Borovičko Lake sports and recreation complex, as well as residential-business and business-tourism complexes - are changing Pljevlja from the ground up. Twelve new business units from the Business Transformation Plan are already operational, and the construction group and asphalt base are operating on the market. Investments in education are further strengthening the foundations of development," the statement reads.
