Sending members of the Montenegrin Army to attend a military parade organized by Aleksandar Vučić is another example of the shameful attitude of the government of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić towards the state of Montenegro and its best interests, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) announced today.
"It is clear that the current government, which, thanks to Spajić, is predominantly made up of Greater Serbian nationalists and deniers of Montenegro, serves the interests of official Belgrade, which would like to push our country into the 'Serbian world', for which Vučić wholeheartedly advocates, who even today has not come to terms with the fact that this is an independent state, of a civic character, whose permanent commitment is anti-fascism. This is an unprecedented humiliation and humiliation of the state army by Vučić's servants and henchmen Mandić and Knežević, who are attending today's parade, and who make up the current government, and all with the amen of Milojko Spajić and the PES, who obviously do not have the guts to oppose the real head of the parliamentary majority, the Chetnik duke, and the agenda that, in the name of Vučić, he and his henchmen are implementing in this country," the DPS statement emphasizes.
The party added that "this act reflects the truth that the top state leaders are people who, instead of serving Montenegro and its citizens, serve the interests of other countries."
"Just because they are used to breaking down other people's doorsteps and kneeling before centers of power outside the borders of Montenegro does not give them the right to trample on state dignity and disgrace Montenegro. In the end, the participation of soldiers in this parade is not an incident, it is part of the strategic plan of those who want to destroy this country. Therefore, this brutal trampling of everything that represents an important part of the identity of an independent, civic, anti-fascist and European Montenegro must stop at the next parliamentary elections. Then every one of Vučić's errand boys, and there are many of them in the current majority, will be sent to the opposition from where they will not be able to destroy Montenegro," the DPS statement reads.
The President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the leader of the New Serbian Democracy, Andrija Mandić, and the President and MP of the Democratic People's Party, Milan Knežević, attended today's military parade "The Power of Unity" in front of the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.
Metropolitan of Budimljan-Niksic of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Methodius, was also present at the event.
"Vijesti" previously announced that the Army of Montenegro (AVCG) and the Ministry of Defense will be represented at the event by two officers of the General Staff of the VCG.

The parade was also attended by the President of the Municipality of Pljevlja, Dario Vraneš (NSD), the President of Prava Crne Gore, Marko Milačić, and the President of Slobodna Crne Gore, Vladislav Dajković.
