New Serbian Democracy (NSD) MP Dejan Đurović said that the party will not support the interpellation announced by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) on the work of Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Defense, Fight against Crime and Internal Policy Aleksa Bečić (Democrats).
"I want to take this opportunity to, with the clear position of course that the New Serbian Democracy will not support the interpellation announced by the DPS, once again confirm on behalf of our party that we strongly support the fight against organized crime and corruption and the work of the competent departments and authorities in dealing with this scourge. This is something we fought for even before August 30th and something we will persist with until Montenegro reaches its goal of becoming a crime-free country," Đurović announced.
"Since it is evident that DPS is bothered by our dedicated fight against organized crime, the cancer of the wound that was created and grew stronger during their rule, because as we all know, they did not make much effort to fight it, we remind them that they have legal mechanisms to express their dissatisfaction, which citizens know are completely meaningless," he said.
