The first session of the regular autumn session of the Parliament will be held on October 13, while a vote on candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court is planned for a day later.

The first session of the autumn session will be held on October 13, it was decided by the collegium of Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandić. Mandić announced to the members of the collegium that the Constitutional Court judges will be elected on October 14, "Vijesti" has learned unofficially.

Television Vijesti announced yesterday that the parliamentary Constitutional Committee could propose two new judges to the Constitutional Court at its session next week, and that the main favorites are Assistant Ombudsman Mirjana Radović and Judge of the Podgorica High Court Jovan Jovanović. 13 candidates applied for the competition.

Also in the parliamentary procedure is a proposal by President Jakov Milatović to elect Mirjana Vučinić as a judge of the Constitutional Court. The parliamentary majority refused to consider the proposal on September 15, with Milatović calling it a "cowardly" move and accusing them of deepening the constitutional crisis.

The Constitutional Court has been operating with an incomplete composition for months, as it currently has four out of seven judges.
