Democratic Montenegro councilor in the Bijelo Polje Municipal Assembly (MA), Marko Đukić, said that instead of a decision to revoke the "Risto Ratković" award from Radovan Karadžić, he expected an initiative from the Bosniak Party (BS) and its representative Amer Smailović to revoke the Third January Award from actor Moamer Kasumović, who was convicted of pedophilia.
He said this last night, at a session of the local parliament, during a debate on revoking the "Risto Ratković" award from the former president of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska and convicted war criminal Radovan Karadžić.
Reiterating that the Assembly does not have the authority to revoke the award from Radovan Karadžić, it does have the authority to revoke the award it itself has given.
"Mr. Smailović, I honestly expected you, as a Bosniak, to first submit an initiative to revoke the January 3rd Award from 2017 from convicted pedophile Muamer Kasumović. Those are some closer dates, if you already want, as you say, to reconcile, isn't it logical to revoke the award from the convicted pedophile - the DPS spokesperson," said Đukić, reminding that the Assembly elects the jury for the award.
