The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) believes that "brutal political persecution" and an attempt to introduce the country "into a state of open dictatorship" are in effect, and they have announced that they will "respond by all means" to the "criminal behavior" of the parliamentary majority and the prosecution.
"The political indictment of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, backed by Sky Prosecutor Vladimir Novović, which was announced as the largest action so far, fell apart in just a few days. The pompously announced action, which was launched on Friday in synchronization with the appropriate media that continuously publishes secret information - which is precisely the merit of the constructed indictment, also collapsed due to the fact that four out of six members of the alleged OKG are already at large," the DPS announced.
"While the security system has been completely destroyed by organized criminal groups that are mocking both the prosecution and the police in an unprecedented manner, the prosecution and the police are dealing with license plates and the correctness of windshield washer jets. All of the above suggests that brutal political persecution and an attempt to introduce the country into a state of open dictatorship are in effect. The Democratic Party of Socialists will respond to such criminal behavior by the parliamentary majority and the prosecution, which aims to stifle any criticism, trample on the freedom and independence of the media, and unscrupulously violate human rights, by all means," the statement reads.
