The director of the Public Institution (PU) "Museum and Gallery" Tivat, Danijela Đukić, received threats from a protected phone number today due to the way she manages this institution, the Civic List (GL) "People Wins" announced tonight.
The statement added that the "People Win" GL calls on the competent authorities, the police and the prosecutor's office to which Đukić reported this incident, to react in accordance with their jurisdiction, sanction this incident and publicly announce the name of the person who made the threats.
"It would be a complete satisfaction to reveal the instigators of this heinous act, in order to fuel our suspicions that certain political forces in our city, which regularly call for morality and the preservation of civil liberties, are behind everything," the statement said.
The "People Hurt" GL said that Đukić is an honorable professional who, through her work and dedication, has improved the work of the institution she leads and earned international recognition.
"The People Wins stands firmly with Ms. Đukić and will not allow any smearing or pressure to be put on her. We hope that other social institutions will also condemn this unusual event for Tivat," the statement reads.
