The president of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and one of the leaders of the European Alliance, Ivan Vujović, said that the "leaders" of the Europe Now Movement (PES) are falsifying historical facts.
PES MPs Gordan Stojović and Miloš Pižurica submitted a Bill on Amendments to the Law on the Status of Descendants of the Petrović-Njegoš Dynasty, which requests, among other things, that the word "violent" be deleted from the act in the formulation about the annexation of Montenegro in 1918.
Vujović recalls that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Montenegro in Rome in 1921 issued the publication "The Role of France in the Forcible Annexation of Montenegro".
"Why do you see PES, who we thought were only interested in, as they swear, the economy, whatever that means in their perception - so they do this without any provocation, open a topic, delete and change, or falsify facts? Maybe the answer is found in the sermon of priest Backović from a few days ago and the message: 'You have to listen to us, we hired you on August 30th'. Or maybe it's all just a coincidence," Vujović wrote on Iks.
Striković: PES MPs' motives transparent and dangerous
SDP Vice President and European Union representative Adnan Striković said that one should be "basically literate" and know that the term annexation does not necessarily mean violence.
"For example: the annexation of South Tyrol to Italy (1919) with consent through a referendum; the annexation of Hawaii to the USA (1959), which became the 50th federal state... The motives of the PES deputies are transparent and dangerous," Striković said.
Vujović: After the rehabilitation of Đurišić, it's the turn of the Podgorica Assembly
Vujović said yesterday that after the "rehabilitation of the villain Đurišić", the next step was the rehabilitation of the Podgorica Assembly.
"Let's remember Spajić's announcement from 20 days ago about the so-called rehabilitation of the Petrović Njegoš dynasty. Well, all this talk was started because of only one thing - to remove the term 'forcible annexation' of Montenegro from 1918 from the existing Law that treats this topic. When the Law on the Petrović Njegoš Dynasty was adopted in 2011, the then Chetnik duke, and today's duke and head of Parliament, Andrija Mandić, was particularly affected precisely because of the qualification 'forcible' annexation. I believe that if he could, he would have called for a procession at that time, as furious as he was. Today, his servants from the PES parliamentary group are submitting amendments to the Law that would cure Mandić's mental pain from 2011, essentially trampling on the Petrović - Njegoš dynasty and, most importantly, what is the intention of this perfidious legal operation, they are making an overture for the rehabilitation of the crime committed against Montenegro in 1918. Of course, it is not Mandić who does the dirty work, "...the unfortunate PES club, because the duke is logically the mastermind and leader of this majority, while the rest are just miserable and sad performers. Therefore, not only will they not find the monument to the criminal Đurišić because they are not looking for it, but they are also pushing the ideology inherited by the criminal in a soft, but in fact perfidious, way through the laws they intend to adopt," Vujović announced yesterday.
