European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is impressed by the ambition, determination, courage and progress that Montenegro has achieved in European integration in the past two years, said Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
"Everyone's commitment and focus on reforms are leading us towards achieving the goal - to join the Union in 2028," Spajić wrote in a post on X.
Von der Leyen arrived in Montenegro today for a visit, and tomorrow she will open the EU-Montenegro investment conference "Smart Growth, Green Future: Accelerating Investment in Montenegro", in Luštica.
She said today via X that Montenegro can achieve its EU ambitions if it remains focused on the goal and united.
