If parliamentary elections were held next week, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) would receive 25,8 percent of votes, and For the Future of Montenegro (ZBCG) 23,5 percent, according to a survey by the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM).
The survey, conducted by CEDEM from September 25 to October 6, shows that the Europe Now Movement (PES) has the support of 20,3 percent of respondents, the Democrats 8,2 percent, and the Bosniak Party and the European Union five percent each.
According to the survey, the Civic Movement URA is supported by 3,6 percent of voters, the People's Trust Movement 2,1 percent, the Albanian Forum 1,8 percent, the Socialist People's Party 1,4 percent, Preokret 0,9 percent, DUA 0,8 percent, while FORCA and the Croatian Civic Initiative each have 0,7 percent support.
CEDEM Director Nevenka Vuksanović said at a press conference on the occasion of presenting the results of the survey "Political Public Opinion in Montenegro" that DPS is in a slight decline compared to last year's survey, and ZBCG is in a significantly greater increase, while PES is also recording a decline.
She stated that 1.006 respondents participated in the research.
Vuksanović said that 36 percent of citizens believe that Montenegro is moving on the right path, 38 percent that it is moving on the wrong path, while 25,9 percent responded that they do not know or cannot assess.
She said that 9,2 percent of respondents are very satisfied with the performance of Milojko Spajić's government, 29,7 percent are mostly satisfied, 23,1 percent are mostly dissatisfied, 21,3 percent are very dissatisfied, and 16,7 percent have no opinion.
Vuksanović stated that the highest level of trust was earned by institutions in the healthcare and education systems, with numerous other institutions experiencing a decline in trust.
The Montenegrin Army has also recorded an increase in trust compared to the previous measurement, she added.
"We are seeing a major decline in trust in the judiciary, prosecution, non-governmental sector and a somewhat smaller decline in trust in political parties," Vuksanović stated.
Speaking about the rating of ministries, she said that the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation received the best rating, while the Ministry of Agriculture was in second place.
Vuksanović said that among politicians, Milojko Spajić has the highest average rating - 2,56, Jakov Milatović 2,49, Milan Knežević 2,39, Milo Đukanović 2,37, Danijel Živković 2,26, Andrija Mandić 2,18.
