Abazović: The government has not seen a company that managed to buy the "Možura" wind farm outside legal rules

"A company from Dubai was involved in everything. Why the state authorities did not deal with all this, I do not have the answer. I have the answer that people close to a minister had a consulting contract of 40.000 euros per month before 2020, and that a plot of land in Porto Montenegro was purchased with that money," Abazović said at a press conference in the Parliament of Montenegro.

The Government of Montenegro did not see the company through which the money was being extracted, it only saw the Spanish companies "Ferse" and "Enemalta", and did not see the company "Cifidex" which managed to buy the "Možura" wind farm outside the legal rules, Dritan Abazović, president of the Civic Movement URA, announced today.

"A Dubai-based company called 'Black 17' was involved in everything. Why the state authorities did not deal with all this, I have no answer. I have the answer that people close to a minister had a consulting contract worth 40.000 euros per month before 2020, and that a plot of land near Porto Montenegro was purchased with that money, where buildings will be built. We want to say that we will not remain silent. We invite other clubs. We would like to have a consensus on this issue," Abazović emphasized at a press conference in the Parliament of Montenegro.

He added that two former prime ministers of Montenegro, Duško Marković and Milo Đukanović, "said that nothing is controversial about this."

The leader of the URA Police Department emphasized that they do not want the Možura case to become statute-barred, given the bad experience from the previous period.

"I think the Parliament should take the initiative and listen to a lot of citizens about what happened during that period. I think certain ministers should be invited. We dealt with this case before 2020, but also as the executive branch," he said, adding that "what the state authorities are silent about is unacceptable."

He recalled that the process involved companies that "were involved in businesses in Malta that led to the murder of the journalist."

"This affair is being treated better in state bodies of other countries, such as Spain," said Abazović.

The topic of the conference is the Proposal of the ERO parliamentary group to form an Inquiry Committee and open a parliamentary investigation to collect information and facts about the actions of state bodies and other entities in the case of granting a concession for the "Možura" wind farm.

When asked by a "Vijesti" journalist whether he would vote for the judges of the Constitutional Court, Abazović said that he would make his decision later.

"We had a promise from the majority that they would come together to unblock the European path and elect judges and prosecutors. All decisions regarding the European path were voted on with the help of the opposition. Both the laws and the election of the Prosecutorial Council...", he said.

He emphasized that he would express his opinion about the candidates "extremely correctly."

"I cannot believe that people without a bar exam are being nominated as judges. I am expressing my opinion, it is possible that some of my colleagues do not share it. If someone who cannot go to the Basic Court can go to the Constitutional Court, let's elect doctors and economists," said the leader of the GP URA.

"We will not be an obstacle to Montenegro joining the EU. Our interest is for Montenegro to become a member as soon as possible, so we will make a statement accordingly. It is premature to talk about that," added Abazović.

As he pointed out, "maybe the Electric Power Company of Montenegro will be part of the agreement for the Constitutional Court."

"As far as we are concerned, when the vote for Constitutional Court judges comes, the party bodies will be in session," he concluded.
