"The program includes a series of development and infrastructure projects, with a focus on preserving cultural, historical and natural heritage, valorizing tourism potential, improving the business environment and creating new jobs," the statement said.

It is added that special emphasis is placed on the second phase of construction of the Kotor - Lovćen (Ivanova Korita) - Cetinje cable car.

The Mayor of Cetinje, Nikola Đurašković, said that by developing the Conceptual Design, the Royal Capital of Cetinje has fully implemented all of its obligations.

"The Feasibility Analysis, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Detailed Landscape Study, Project Terms of Reference and Preliminary Design have been submitted to the Ministry of Public Works for further consideration. An open tender procedure for the selection of the designer and contractor is expected to be announced in the next two months, followed by the start of the second phase of construction of the cable car, according to the "Design and Build" principle," said Đurašković.

Milatović said that the cable car construction project is one of the most important tourism infrastructure projects for Montenegro, from the aspect of improving the tourist offer, but also measurable economic benefits for the public, private sector and citizens.

"The construction of this cable car will be a unique project in the world, both because of its length and because of the fact that it is a cable car that will connect two historically very important cities in the country - Cetinje and Kotor," said Milatović.

According to him, this will create an exceptional tourist atmosphere.

"That from the Adriatic coast, from one of the world's most beautiful bays, Boka Kotorska, one can enjoy the motifs of Mount Lovćen, and then the capital of Montenegro," said Milatović.

As stated in the statement, the Senate was also informed about activities related to the erection of a memorial in honor of the Battle of Košćele, held on July 15, 1941.

It is stated that, based on the Memorial Erection Program, which was adopted with the consent of the Ministry of Culture and Media, an adequate location for the monument was found above the existing memorial plaque, in coordination with representatives of SUBNOR and UBNOR Cetinje.

The statement added that Milatović, through the Senate, launched an initiative for the restoration of the historical site of Žabljak Crnojević, one of the most important symbols of Montenegrin statehood and cultural identity, in anticipation of the celebration of twenty years of Montenegro's independence.
