In the old manner, the Prime Minister is again ignoring MPs' questions, answering questions that are pleasant to him, bypassing others. That's what happened today when he did not specifically answer my MP's question, said Special Club MP Radinka Ćinćur.

She said that she strongly condemns every type of violence and xenophobia that is happening these days.

"I hope that the state and municipalities will help people who live off the damaged businesses, that the damage is repaired, as I was informed that the responsible people in my Bar did. This would show that Montenegro is not behind the vandalism of burning shops and cars. Of course, that the perpetrators are identified and prosecuted. The evening when our fellow citizen was injured is just the tip of the iceberg, and the best analysis of the causes and consequences of everything that is happening was given by a Turkish journalist who sent you a message via the X platform that Montenegro is to blame for the riots committed by Turkish citizens, because it has provided shelter to the biggest criminals who are fleeing justice in their country. This only indicates one thing: Montenegro has become a haven for dirty money, and then for every kind of arrogance and crime," Ćinćur stated.

She repeated the questions she expects answers to from Prime Minister Spajić:

"How do you assess the total economic impact of Turkish capital in Montenegro, considering that Turkish investors have invested over 90 million euros in the first eight months of this year alone and hold ownership in up to 14.5 thousand registered companies? And there are allegedly only 13.5 thousand residents?"

b) Have measures been taken to prevent potential abuse of investment arrangements and real estate purchases for the purposes of money laundering or concealment of ownership?

a) Are you aware of the fact that Zeren Group is the subject of indictments and several international investigations and verdicts, due to suspicions of money laundering, tax fraud and abuse? And that the responsible persons of this group have been arrested several times recently, among others in Croatia and Slovenia? And this group also has a presence in Montenegro.

If so, please specify:

• whether Montenegrin institutions (Ministry of Interior and Financial Intelligence Unit - FIU) checked the origin of the capital and business activities of this company in Montenegro;

• whether the Government has information about the beneficial owners and financial flows of that group.

c) Considering that Montenegro strives for full compliance with EU standards in the field of money laundering prevention, does the Government plan, in cooperation with the FIU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to initiate targeted checks of foreign companies from Turkey operating in high-risk sectors - real estate, tourism, trade and financial services?" she asked.

Ćinćur said that the citizens of Montenegro expect answers to these questions, in what she assessed as a very difficult time, when xenophobic incidents occur daily for which the executive branch is responsible.

"And it's no wonder that the most important thing for the government, whose finances are run by a man with a college degree without accreditation, is money, no matter where it comes from," the MP concluded.
