Montenegro has the full support of Greece on its European path, said Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and congratulated Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović on the positive report of the European Commission (EC).
The President's Office announced that Mitsotakis praised Milatović's achievements and strong leadership.
"In a telephone conversation initiated by the Prime Minister of Greece, Mitsotakis said that Montenegro has the full support of that country on its European path," the statement said.
Milatović thanked for the congratulations and emphasized that Montenegro appreciates the support of Greece as a reliable friend and ally on the path towards a common European future.
"At Milatović's invitation, Greek President Konstantinos Tassulas will pay an official visit to Montenegro in December, while Mitsotakis has also announced his arrival by the end of the year, which confirms the strong dynamics of political relations and friendly ties between the two countries," the statement said.
