The constituent session of the fifth convocation of the Main Board of the Bosniak Front (BS) was held in Rožaje, and the mandates of the new members of the Main Board (GB) were verified, and the Rules of Procedure (GB) were adopted.
The new convocation of the GO BS will consist of 115 members from 11 municipal boards across Montenegro.
Damir Gutić and Jasmin Ćorović were elected as vice presidents of the BS, and Hamza Dacić as secretary general.
The new composition of the Presidency of the Bosniak Party, in addition to the president of the Bosniak Party Ervin Ibrahimović, consists of Gutić, Ćorović, Dacić, Amer Smailović, Admir Šahmanović, Mirsad Azemović, Irfan Husović, Sabina Muratović, Suljo Mustafić and Muradif Grbović.
"The fifth convocation of the Bosniak Party's General Assembly has been enriched by greater participation of women and youth, which is another confirmation of the Bosniak Party's aspiration to integrate women and youth into the process of political action and decision-making," the BS announced.
They add that a special item at the first session of the Main Board was dedicated to the current political situation.
"Those present expressed concern about the recent incidents in Podgorica and other cities in Montenegro, which have escalated into open xenophobia and Islamophobia. In this regard, they tasked ministers in the Government of Montenegro and members of the Parliament of Montenegro to insist on a full clarification of all facts and circumstances related to this event and insist on prosecuting those responsible, because Montenegro must not be a place of xenophobia and Islamophobia, especially in the context of the fact that Bosniaks and the Bosniak Party made a key contribution to the independence of Montenegro and its European and Euro-Atlantic path, and in that way built themselves into the foundations of modern Montenegro," the BS announced.
